Terms of Service

About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Bidit Company Legal Name], a corporation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission under No. [SEC No.], with its office at [Address] ("Bidit," "we," "us"). They cover your use of the Bidit website at bidit.com.ph, our mobile apps, and all related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, bidding, buying, selling, or watching a show, you agree to these Terms. You also agree to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and change the date above. For major changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Platform after that, you accept the new Terms. Bidit is a marketplace. We connect buyers and sellers. Unless we say otherwise, Bidit is not the seller of any item and does not own the items listed.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell on Bidit. Users aged 13 to 17 may watch shows only, with a parent or guardian's consent. Anyone under 13 may not use the Platform. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Give true, current, and complete information, including a working mobile number and email.
  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Have only one personal account, unless we approve more.
  • Tell us right away at support@bidit.com.ph if you think someone else is using your account.

We may ask you to verify your identity at any time. This can include a valid government-issued ID, a selfie, or proof of address. We may limit or close an account that fails verification. Your username and profile photo must not copy another person or brand, mislead others, or break our Community Guidelines.

How Bidit Works

Sellers sell items in three ways:

  • Timers. In a standard live auction, a bid placed in the last few seconds may add time to the clock. The seller sets the rules before the auction starts. The rules shown on screen apply. What the Platform records is final. Bids, timers, and winners are decided by our system's records. Delays from your internet connection, device, or app version are your risk. If our system has a clear error, we may cancel the auction or let the seller run it again.
  • Giveaways. Sellers may run free giveaways. Giveaways must be free to enter. They cannot require a purchase or payment of any kind. Sellers must follow all Philippine rules on promotions, including DTI permit rules where they apply.
  • Shows are public. Live streams may be recorded and replayed on Bidit. Do not share anything on a stream you want to keep private.

Buyer Terms

Every bid is a promise to buy. When you bid, you agree to pay that amount, plus shipping and any fees shown, if you win. You cannot take back a bid once placed.

  • Live auction — The seller shows an item on a live stream. Buyers bid during a countdown. The highest bid when the timer hits zero wins.
  • Sudden-death auction — Same as a live auction, but the timer does not reset when new bids come in.
  • Buy It Now — The item has a fixed price. The first buyer to pay gets it. Can be live or listed in the shop.

Payment is instant. You must save a valid payment method before you bid. When you win or click Buy It Now, we charge it right away. Accepted methods include GCash, Maya, cards, and bank transfer. Failed payments. There is no grace period. If your payment fails when you win, the host may wait a few minutes during the show for you to fix it, or restart the auction right away. Once the auction restarts, you lose the item. Failed payments may lead to limits on your account. Repeated failed payments lead to a permanent ban. Shipping. Sellers ship to the address on your account. Check it before you bid. Bidit is not liable for loss caused by a wrong address you gave. Bundling. Items you win from the same seller in the same show may ship together, if the seller offers it. You pay one shipping fee for the bundle, as shown at checkout. Bidding fairly. You may not bid to push up the price for a seller (shill bidding). You may not bid with no intent to pay. You may not use bots or scripts to bid.

Seller Terms

Selling on Bidit requires approval and carries these obligations:

  • Approval. You must apply and be approved to sell. We may ask for a valid ID, your TIN, your DTI or SEC registration, a bank or e-wallet account in your own name, and sample photos of your stock. We may approve, refuse, or remove seller access at our discretion.
  • Accurate listings. You must describe every item honestly. This includes its condition, grading, defects, and whether it is authentic. Show the real item on stream. Do not use stock photos for one-of-a-kind items.
  • You must deliver what sold. Once an auction ends or a Buy It Now sale is paid, you must sell at that price. You may not cancel because the price was low.
  • Shipping time. Ship within 3 business days of the sale, unless your listing says otherwise. Use a tracked courier. Upload the tracking number on Bidit. Pack items so they arrive in the condition you described.
  • No off-platform deals. Do not ask buyers to pay you outside Bidit for items found on Bidit. Off-platform sales are not covered by Buyer Protection and may lead to account removal.
  • Taxes and permits. You are responsible for your own taxes, business permits, and receipts. Where Philippine tax rules require it, Bidit will withhold tax from your payouts and give you a certificate (BIR Form 2307).
  • Seller information. Under the Internet Transactions Act of 2023, we may need to show buyers your registered business name and contact details, and share them with government agencies on lawful request.

Fees and Payouts

Buyers pay no fee to bid or buy, other than the item price, shipping, and any tax shown at checkout. Sellers pay the fees below. Fees are taken from each sale before payout. We may change fees with at least 15 days' notice. Promotional rates end on the date stated in the promo.

  • Commission — 7.5% of item price. 0% during our launch promo; the end date will be announced before transactions launch.
  • Payment processing — 2.5% of order total. Covers GCash, Maya, cards, and bank transfer.
  • Shipping label (if bought on Bidit) — At cost. Optional.

Payouts. We release your earnings 7 days after the buyer receives the item, or 7 days after shipping if tracking shows delivery. Payouts go to the bank or e-wallet account in your verified name. We may hold a payout if there is a dispute, a chargeback, or a sign of fraud. Negative balance. If a refund or chargeback makes your balance negative, you agree to pay it back. We may deduct it from future payouts.

Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not sell, offer, or show:

  • Fake, counterfeit, or replica items, including fake trading cards, sneakers, or luxury goods.
  • Items you do not own or have no right to sell, including stolen goods.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons regulated by Philippine law.
  • Illegal drugs, prescription medicines, vapes sold without required permits, and alcohol or tobacco to minors.
  • Live animals and protected wildlife or wildlife products.
  • Adult or sexual content.
  • Mystery boxes or "breaks" that work like gambling.
  • Personal data, accounts, or digital codes.
  • Any item banned by Philippine law or by the DTI, FDA, or other agencies.

On the Platform, you may not: harass, threaten, or hate on anyone, on stream or in chat; run fake bids, fake reviews, or fake giveaways; try to get around our fees or move deals off Bidit; copy content or use our brand without permission; hack, scrape, or disrupt the Platform. We may remove listings, end streams, hold payouts, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Refunds, Returns, and Buyer Protection

All sales are final, with some exceptions. Because items are sold live, you cannot return an item just because you changed your mind. Bidit Buyer Protection covers you if:

  • The item never arrived.
  • The item is very different from how the seller showed or described it.
  • The item is fake.
  • The item arrived damaged because of poor packing.

How to claim. Open a claim in the app within 3 days of delivery, or within 30 days of the sale if the item never arrived. Add photos or an unboxing video. We will ask the seller to respond within 2 business days. Outcome. If we find the claim valid, we may ask you to return the item and give a full refund, including shipping. The seller pays return shipping where the seller is at fault. Our decision on a claim is final within the Platform. This does not remove your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines or the Internet Transactions Act. Chargebacks. Please file a claim with us before going to your bank or e-wallet. Filing a chargeback without trying our claim process may lead to account limits.
